National Karate C’ships begin tomorrow

LAHORE: The 25th Men and 11th Women National Karate Championships will be held from November 24 to 26 at Wapda Sports Complex under the aegis of Wapda Sports Board.The 3-day Championship is being organized in collaboration with National Karate Federation. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on November 26 at 1500 hours. As many as 10 teams namely Wapda, Pakistan Army, Police, Railways, Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Islamabad and Fata are participating in the Championship. Wapda will defend both Men’s and Women’s titles. It is pertinent to mention that Wapda’s men and women karate teams have been the National Champions for the last 20 and 10 years respectively.
