Abbottabad in T20 Women Cup semis

PESHAWAR: Abbottabad crushed Peshawar Green by 120 runs to enter the semi-finals of the Mrs Saad Shaheed T20 Women Cricket Cup here at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU) Campus ground Wednesday.
Ayesha Khan (112) scored a brilliant century as Abbottabad piled up 167-5 in the allotted overs.
In reply, the Peshawar Green only managed 47 runs. Rubab (21) was the only key batsman. Abbottabad’s Shazia, Salma and Momina shared two wickets each.
In the second match, Charsadda defeated Haripur by 11 runs in a thrilling match.
Charsadda scored 133-8 in 20 overs. Mehtab (61) played a brilliant knock. Haripur team was bowled out for 122 with Sheza scoring 23.
Nousheen grabbed three while Mehtab and Sana took two wickets each for Charsadda. Charsadda also qualified for the semi-finals.
