BAHAWALPUR: Six of a family fell unconscious after taking poisonous milk at Mohallah Noorpura, Chishtian, on Tuesday. According to doctors of the THQ Hospital, Chishtian, Rehana Bibi, the wife of Kamran, was living along with her children, Muzilfa, 2, Ammara, 7, Faheem, 14, and Waseem, 10, and mother Fatima Bibi when they consumed unhygienic and poisonous milk. As a result, they fell unconscious. They were rushed to the hospital. BREACH IN CANAL: A 25-feet wide breach occurred in the Ahmadpur East Canal near Ahmadpur on Tuesday. The breach inundated hundreds of acres land. According to the Ahmadpur East administration, efforts were underway to fill the breach with the help of the Rescue 1122 and the Irrigation Department staffers.
