Labourer dies in cylinder blast

GUJRANWALA: A labourer died when a gas cylinder exploded in a factory on Khiali Road on Tuesday.
Haider Shafi was busy working in the factory when suddenly a gas cylinder exploded. As a result, he was seriously injured. Later, he was rushed to the DHQ Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
DACOIT GANG BUSTED: Cantt police on Tuesday arrested three members of a dacoit gang and recovered booty and illicit weapons from them.
Addressing a press conference here, Civil Lines Division SP Zeeshan Shafiq said that the police raided and arrested the gang members of Sadaf alias Saddu gang including its ring leader Sadaf of Noshera Road, Imran of Sultanpura and Usman of Wahndo. He said that the police also recovered booty including five bikes and illicit arms from them. The SP said that the gangsters were wanted in 101 different cases including dacoity and robbery.
