Man kills brother over pigeon flying issue

HAFIZABAD: A man killed his elder brother over a minor dispute at Kot Said Muhammad on Monday.
Fakhar Abbas had bought pigeons and kept them on the roof of the house. His elder brother Irshad Ahmad had forbidden him several times from flying pigeons but to no avail.
On the day of the incident, Fakhar and Irshad exchanged hot words over the issue. In a fit of frustration, Fakhar allegedly killed Irshad with the blows of a sharp-edged weapon. Vanike Tarar police have arrested the accused after shifting the body to the DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

HAFIZABAD: A mentally-retarded man injured a polio team incharge over a minor dispute at Jalalpur Bhattian on Monday.
Dr Asghar Ali Makhdoom, a polio team incharge, was on his way when Nazim Ali allegedly tortured him. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
