RAWALPINDI: Police have registered cases on Saturday against three hotels and landlords for not providing particulars about their tenants under Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance 2015.
According to a spokesman for Rawalpindi police, the Cantonment police registered first information reports against hotel owners Noman Maqsood and Tahir Abbasi and a house owner Muhammad Nisar for not submitting details of their tenants. Under the Punjab Tenants Ordinance 2015 the details of new tenants should be provided to police within 24 hours of giving possession of the property, he added.
According to a spokesman for Rawalpindi police, the Cantonment police registered first information reports against hotel owners Noman Maqsood and Tahir Abbasi and a house owner Muhammad Nisar for not submitting details of their tenants. Under the Punjab Tenants Ordinance 2015 the details of new tenants should be provided to police within 24 hours of giving possession of the property, he added.
