KARACHI: Pakistan’s top-ranked players will be seen in action in the Masters Cup Table Tennis tournament which will commence here at Islamia Club on Saturday (today).
The top 32 men and 16 women will be part of the showpiece, which is being hosted by Sindh Table Tennis Association (STTA) in colloboration with Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF).
Besides individual events, men’s teams of WAPDA, Railways, Army and Higher Education Commission (HEC) and women’s outfits of Habib Bank Limited (HBL), WAPDA, HEC and Punjab will show their worth in the four-day affair, which will conclude on February 17.
Sindh secretary sports Laeeq Ahmed will inaugurate the event at 5:30pm.
The men’s singles first stage competitions will start at 10am. Women’s singles first stage encounters will begin from 7pm.
