KARACHI: Favourite Ahsan Ayaz recovered from a set down to beat third seed Muhammad Farhan in the summit clash of boys under-19 event in 4th Rehana Nazar RashidAbad National Junior Squash championship 2015 at Rehana Nazar Squash Complex in Rashidabad, District Tando Allayar.
Farhan took the first set against Ahsan but the top seed then onwards dominated the proceedings to record a 7-11, 11-4, 11-3, 11-7 win and annexed the title to his name.
Favourite Mehran Javed overpowered his surprise opponent Ali Kramat in straight sets and recorded a straight-set 11-7, 11-8, 11-5 win in under-17 boys final.
In the boys under-15 climax, favorite Abbas Zaib dropped a set against second seed Zeeshan Gul before recording a 11-8, 14-12, 7-11, 11-6 victory.
Second seed Uzair Shukat stunned top seed Zeeshan Malik in boys under-13 final recording an 11-3, 6-11, 11-9, 12-10 triumph.
In boys under-11 summit clash, top seed Asadullah Khan defeated second seed Mohammad Ammad by 11-7, 11-7, 12-10 score.
Seeded second in girls under-19 event, Faiza Zafar found tough resistance from her surprise opponent Madina Zafar, who was seeded fourth, before recording an 8-11, 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 15-13 win in the final.
In girls under-15 final, favorite Noor Ul Huda overcame second seed Komal to claim the title as expected.
