Expired medicines recovered from Haripur hospital

HARIPUR: An official of the district administration along with the Health Department officials recovered expired medicines from a hospital in Khanpur on Monday, official said.
Talking to reporters, the Drug Inspector, Syed Aqib Ali Shah, said acting on the public complaints, an inspection team comprising Additional Assistant Commissioner Imran Zia and other officials of the Health Department paid a surprise visit to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Khanpur.
He said that after thorough search, the team members recovered expiredmedicines worthRs1 million fromthe hospital store. “A detailed report will be forwarded to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa secretary health for further action,” the official added.
