PARACHINAR: Three personnel of the security forces sustained injuries in a roadside blast in central parts of Kurram Agency on Tuesday, official sources said.
The sources said that the miscreants had planted an improvised explosive device (IED) in Taray area in Kurram Agency. They said the blast occurred when a patrolling vehicle of the security forces was passing through the area.
As a result, three soldiers sustained injuries in the explosion, the sources said, adding the vehicle was damaged in the blast. The injured soldiers were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Kohat.
Meanwhile, the political administration arrested several tribesmen under the collective responsibility section of the Frontier Crimes Regulation and started an investigation into the incident.
