FAISALABAD: Four people were killed while five others sustained injuries in separate road accidents here on Sunday.
In the first incident, a speeding car driven by Ghulam Bashir collided with a divider near Adda Thikriwala on Jhang Road. As a result, Ghulam Bashir died on the spot while Khalid Saeed, Saeed Ahmad, Tariq Noor and a minor boy sustained injuries. In another incident, Jamila Bibi of Chak 61/GB was killed when a motorcyclist crushed her while crossing the Jaranwala Road. In yet another accident, Dilawar Arif was on his way by a motorcycle when a speeding car hit him on Canal Road, which caused his instant death. Imran Ashraf of Chak 422/GB Tandlianwala was killed while his cousin Ali Sher was seriously wounded when their bike collided with a rickshaw coming from opposite direction.
MAN SHOT DEAD: A man was shot dead over a minor issue at Chak 153/RB Sahianwala on Sunday.
Accused Muhammad Hanif and his accomplices allegedly opened fire at Afzal Ahmad, his father Bashir Ahmad and Usman Ali over pigeon flying issue. As a result, Afzal was killed on the spot while Bashir and Usman sustained injuries.
