KARACHI: Top seed Ahsan Ayaz recorded a straight-set victory against Ahmed Ali Khan in quarters and confirmed his presence in the semi-finals of U19 boys event in NBP — 4th Rehana Nazar Rashidabad National Junior Squash Championship 2015 on Friday at Rehana Nazar Squash Complex in Rashidabad.
Ahsan found little resistance from his last-four opponent Ahmed Ali and recorded a convincing 11-5, 11-2, 11-9 win.
Meanwhile, Faizan Khan also secure his place in the semi-finals after beating Umair Gul by 11-3, 11-3, 11-9 score.
In boys U17 quarter-finals, unseeded Ali Kramat stunned second seed Mansoor Zaman in straight sets and recorded a convincing 11-7, 13-11, 11-1 win.
