HAFIZABAD: Three people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a truck and a trailer near Saleempura village on Gujranwala Road on Saturday.
A truck was going to Gujranwala when it rammed into a trailer. As a result, Ahsanullah, Amjad Ali and an unidentified man were killed on the spot while Sabir Ali and Suleman were injured seriously. The injured people were shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
LAWYERS STRIKE: Lawyers on Saturday continued their strike against the registration of a case against DBA general secretary Ch Amanullah Sindhu and 18 others on the charge of torturing flood affectees.
They also staged a demonstration at District Courts Chowk and blocked the road. They have demanded police high-ups quash the case.
