MARDAN: Four persons, including two mechanics, died when a jeep caught fire after it rammed into a tree on Bypass Road, locals and police officials said on Saturday.
They said that Abdullah, resident of Irum Colony, repaired his jeep at a workshop on Bypass Road and when they drove the jeep for trial, it accidentally bumped into a tree and caught fire.
As a result, Farooq, Ali Askar, Abdullah and Wahab were severely burnt and they died on way to Mardan Medical Complex. The bodies were handed over to their relatives.
