GUJRANWALA: A girl was raped by her cousin and his friends here.
Yasir Arafat allegedly abducted his cousin ‘S’ from Usman Park. The accused took the girl to an unknown place where he and his friends allegedly raped her. Later, the accused left the victim outside her house. The victim was under treatment at the DHQ Hospital. Satellite Town police have registered a case.
DEMO AGAINST LOW GAS PRESSURE: People staged a demonstration against low gas pressure here on Friday.
The protesters were chanting slogans against the SNGPL. They were also carrying placards and banners. They said that the low gas pressure had made their lives miserable.
Black warrants for prisoner issued

GUJRANWALA: ATC No-I Judge Ch Imtiaz on Friday issued black warrants for condemned prisoner Bilal for February 10.
Bilal had gunned down Adnan on the Gujrat sessions court premises on March 11, 2011. An ATC had awarded him death on two counts on April 12, 2012.
Two bandits among three injured in encounter

GUJRANWALA: Two bandits and a man were injured in an encounter with patrol police at Mian Sansi in Sabzi Mandi police limits on Friday.
A scrap dealer, Abdullah, was on his way when three bandits intercepted him. In the meantime, a police party while patrolling the area also reached there. On seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, dacoits Tariq and Azeem and scrap dealer Abdullah were injured while the third dacoit managed to escape. Police have arrested the injured dacoits and shifted them to the DHQ Hospital.
