Bugti murder case: BHC rejects Musharraf, others acquittal plea

QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court (BHC) rejected the request for acquittal of Pervez Musharraf and other accused in the Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case here on Wednesday. The court upheld the Anti-Terrorism Court’s decision in this regard.
Jamil Bugti, the son of Nawab Akbar Bugti, had filed a request against the acquittal of former president Pervez Musharraf, ex-prime minister Shaukat Aziz, ex-interior minister Aftab Sherpao and former home minister Shoaib Nosherwani in the high court. Announcing its verdict,the Balochistan High Court discharged the request.
