PHC issues notice in plaza construction case

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday issued notice to provincial and district governments in a writ petition filed against construction of a commercial plaza in a residential area of the city.
A division bench comprising Justice Qalandar Ali Khan and Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Khan put on notice TMO of Town-I, Peshawar, provincial government and owners of the plaza.
The court issued notice in a writ petition filed by 23 residents of Ghala Mandi area in Town-1 Peshawar through their lawyer Aminur Rehman Yousafzai.
