Minal, Zohaib clinch National Junior Badminton titles

KARACHI: Army’s Minal Tariq and Zohaib Khan Khalil of Police won Under-19 girls’ and boys’ singles titles, respectively, in the National Junior Badminton Championships, which concluded in Lahore on Monday. In boys singles Under-19 final, Zohaib dropped a set against Shoaib Riaz of Army before recording a 21-13, 19-21, 21-17 victory.In girls’ singles Under-19 summit clash, Minal recorded a straight-set 21-16, 21-19 victory against teammate Arifa Hassan.
