‘Nawaz to unveil conspiracies against CPEC in Faisalabad meeting’
FAISALABAD: Disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif will unveil conspiracies being hatched against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other vital projects launched by the PML-N government in a public meeting at Iqbal Park after Eid, said National Assembly Parliamentary Affairs Committee Chairman MNA Mian Abdul Mannan.
Talking to The News here on Friday, he said that Nawaz Sharif agreed to visit Faisalabad on his invitation before launching his mass contact campaign in the country. He said that befitting arrangements would be made in consultation with the PML-N local leaders to give a rousing welcome to their leader Nawaz Sharif. He appealed to the politically-conscious people of Faisalabad to participate in the public meeting in great number to prove that it was still the fortress of the PML-N.
The MNA further said that Nawaz Sharif did not deviate from the constitution and strongly believed in the rule of law. He said that over one-month long sit-in by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf in Islamabad had badly hampered the CPEC.
