Three of a family shot dead over marriage dispute in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: A man allegedly murdered his sister, brother-in-law and their son over love marriage issue at Chak 67/JB, Thikriwala, on Saturday.
Accused Ansar Abbas entered the house of his sister lady police constable Nagina Abbas, who was posted at Thikriwala police station, and allegedly opened indiscriminate firing. As a result, Nagina, her husband Piran Ditta Qureshi and their son Hussain Abbas were killed on the spot. Sources said that Nagina had contracted love marriage with Piran Ditta, which had infuriated the accused.
Thikriwala police have registered a case. Meanwhile, two brothers, Ghulam Muhammad and Abdur Rahman, both residents of Chak 506/GB, Mamoon Kanjan, were gunned down allegedly by accused Umar Daraz and Shahbaz Ahmad over enmity.
