PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has restored Dr Musa Kaleem as chairman of the Pediatric Department of the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
A division bench comprising Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Abdul Shakoor disposed of writ petition of Dr Musa Kaleem with the direction that he would continue as chairman of the Pediatric Department till the decision of Board of Governors of the Medical Teaching Intuition of LRH on his appeal.
However, the court converted his petition as departmental appeal and directed the BoG of the MTI of the LRH to decide it as per the law. It was stated in the order that the after hearing the lawyer of the petitioner at some length the court put on notice the legal advisor of the hospital.
The legal advisor contended that the instant petition was not maintainable as the proper forum for such matter under MTI Act was BoG.
Javed Iqbal Gulbela and Khiyal Muhammad Mohmand represented the LRH while Shumail Ahmad Butt appeared for Dr Musa Kaleem.
