PML-N not challenging any institution, says Saad Rafique
GUJRANWALA: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq has said that the PML-N is not pressurising or challenging any authority or institution, but they are just seeking justice.
He said this while addressing a press conference here on Monday. Senior PML-N leader Ghulam Dastgir Khan, Federal Minister Usman Ibrahim, Punjab Minister Manshaullah Butt, parliamentarians Mahmood Bashir, Shazia Sohail, Abdul Rauf Mughal, Taufiq Butt, Iqbal Gujjar, Nawaz Chohan and others were also present. Khawaja Saad Rafique said that our voice and struggle was only to strengthen the democracy in the country, adding that our leader Nawaz Sharif lives in the hearts of people.
He demanded that the practise to dislodge the elected PM by force should be stopped. Pakistan was a democratic state and parliament should be the supreme house to run the country, he added.
Saad Rafique said that PTI chief Imran Khan was playing with fire. “In fact, he was cutting the same branch of the tree where he was sitting,” he said. Immature politicians like Imran Khan were harming the national politics, he alleged. The minister claimed the PML-N was being targeted under an agenda. Khawaja Saad said that Nawaz Sharif would depart from Islamabad to Lahore on Aug 9 and he would be welcomed in every city and village by the people warmly.
