Swabi DPO directed to probe torture on student

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Salahuddin Mahsud has directed the district police officer (DPO) of Swabi to probe the torture of a student by the police and submit a report within 24 hours.

A spokesperson for the KP Police said the IGP had taken notice of the torture of the student by the cops of the Yar Hussain Police Station. The IGP directed DPO Sohaib Ashraf to probe the matter and submit a report within 24 hours.
