Strike of young doctors in Faisalabad enters fourth day
FAISALABAD: The strike of young doctors of the Allied and Civil hospitals entered the fourth day here on Thursday. The young doctors stayed away from their work and took out rallies in support of their demands, including sacking of those police officials, who had allegedly baton-charged their peaceful colleagues in Lahore. They vowed to continue the strike till the acceptance of their demands. Due to the strike, long queues of male and female patients could be seen at counters of both the hospitals to get the entry slips. Meanwhile, the Health Department officers had deputed 90 senior doctors and lady doctors to provide outdoor treatment to the patients. They claimed that the outdoor counters of both the hospitals were functioning as per usual.
