Gilgit-Baltistan plans 34.5MW plant

SKARUDU: The government of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) has decided to establish a 34.5 megawatt (MW) project with the assistance of federal government to overcome the ongoing power crisis, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported on Monday.
“The plant will be built in Harpe village at cost of Rs9522.801 million for which the federal government will provide funds from Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP),” said Naseem Hussain, superintending engineer Public Works Department, while talking to APP.
