Husband, wife shot dead in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: A man and his wife were shot dead over a domestic dispute in Akbarabad locality falling in the limits of the City Police Station on Thursday, official sources said.
They said that one Wakeel Shah and his wife Rukhsana Bibi were present at their home when Gulab Shah and Amir Shah forced their entry into the house and allegedly fired at them. As a result, Wakeel Shah was killed on the spot while Rukhsana Bibi sustained critical injuries.
The injured was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Charsadda where she succumbed to her injuries.
The body, after autopsy, was handed over to the family members for burial.
Meanwhile, one Muhammad Shah along with his pillion rider Sanaullah was on his way in the limits of the City Police Station when his motorbike slipped and fell on the road. Muhammad Shah was killed instantly while Sanaullah sustained injuries.
The body and the injured were shifted to the hospital where condition of the injured was stated to be stable. The body was handed over to the family members for burial. The police registered separate cases and started investigation.
