DASKA: Two women were abducted in the area of Bombanwala police limits on Sunday.
Wife of Ditta was on her way to a local doctor, when Hanif and Ali abducted her and took her to an undisclosed location.
In the second incident, wife of Muhammad Ashraf was present at home, when Mukhtar and his accomplices entered the house and kidnapped her.
VALUABLES SNATCHED: Dacoits deprived people of cash, mobilephones and valuables in two hits in the city area.
Two dacoits barged into house of advocate Nasir Mahmood and held the family members hostage and took away Rs 40,000, 10 tola gold, two cellphones and other valuables. The second incident happened at Model Town where Muhammad Afzal and his wife were intercepted by three gunmen near bazaar and were deprived of cash, two cellphones and a motorcycle.
Naseem parked his motorcycle outside vegetable market. He found the motorcycle missing when he came back.
PRINCIPAL THREATENED: Sadr police registered a case against accused who threatened a private school principal.
Principal Nusrat Bibi was present at the school when accused Muhammad Afzal and Rizwan arrived and threatened her of dire consequences. An old enmity was cited the main reason behind the incident.
