KARACHI: Afghanistan football team on Sunday night reached Lahore to play one-off friendly against Pakistan on February 6 at Punjab Stadium, Lahore.
“The team has reached Islamabad and is on its way to Lahore,” Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) secretary Col Ahmad Yar Lodhi told ‘The News’.
The friendly is being held in a bid to prepare for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers first round matches which will be held on March 12 and 17. The draws for the first round will be held later this week.
