Two brides shot dead, killer commits suicide in Swabi

SWABI: Two brides and a minor girl were shot dead while the alleged killer committed suicide here in Swabi Khaas village on Saturday night, sources said.
The sources said that a wedding ceremony of two brothers was in progress in Swabi Khaas village when the accused, whose identity could not be ascertained, arrived and shot dead two brides and a minor girl and later he committed suicide. Two other persons were injured and shifted Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar for treatment.
Following the incident, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital in Swabi for autopsy. The motive behind the incident could not be confirmed immediately.
