LAHORE
Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has condemned the Shikarpur blast and said that it seemed the country has been handed over to terrorists.
He said the government that could not get its own orders implemented regarding the rules and regulations of weddings, how could it get the National Action Plan implemented?
He said all sections of society including government, parliament, judiciary and other organisations in the US and Europeans countries had joined forces against terrorism and questioned why it was not possible in Pakistan?
The PAT chief phoned Agha Ameen Shaheedi, secret general of the Majlis-e-Wahadat-el-Muslimeen, and condoled with him deaths of 60 people in the blast. He said that he and PAT stood beside them in the hour of grief.
He said that an effort was being made to fail military courts. He said the rulers had handed the country over to terrorists and were trying to give it a sectarian colour. He said a hidden force was behind the move.
He said all such acts of the government were pushing the people of the country towards depression.
Dr Tahirul Qadri said the rulers were themselves masterminds of acts of terrorism and the Model Town incident was a glaring example of their mindset.
