JI to protest US declaration against Kashmiri leader: Siraj
LAHORE
To express solidarity with Kashmiri Muslims’ freedom struggle, Jamaat-e-Islami will launch a protest march up to US embassy in Islamabad on July 9 against Washington for declaring veteran Kashmiri leader Syed Salahuddin terrorist.
This announcement was made by JI ameer Senator Sirajul Haq while delivering Friday sermon at Mansoora masjid on return from Saudi Arabia.
Sirajul Haq termed the US world’s biggest terrorist which had been patronising large scale massacre of innocent civilians across the globe, particularly supporting Israeli and Indian illegal occupation of Muslim territories and massacring native civilians in order to legitimise illegal control over their lands. He said now the US had openly come out for crushing Kashmiris’ freedom movement.
Sirajul Haq said it was an irony that Indian Premier Modi who was declared terrorist by Washington sometime back and banning his entry into the US and Europe, was now Donald Trump’s close friend. He said it might be the rulers’ compulsion to support US but the 200 million Pakistanis stood by Kashmiri Muslims.
He announced launching a JI website to trace the foreign assets of present and past rulers of the country. He said after the Supreme Court decision in Panama Leaks case, the illegal foreign wealth of the rulers would be brought to the country. He said the JI had set up a special cell to unearth the assets of the rulers in London, Dubai, Swiss Banks and elsewhere and soon a website would be launched to enable the citizens to know the details in this regard. He urged the people to assist the JI in this effort. He said the JI campaign against corruption was going to succeed. He urged the masses not to remain impartial in this respect but play their role in this effort.
The JI ameer said US had dropped nuclear bombs at Japan killing millions and massacred millions of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. The US had been at war against Islam but unfortunately, Muslim rulers were US allies in this war. He said the colonial powers of the world were targeting Islamic liberation and renaissance movements, and Trump had declared Salahuddin a terrorist only to please Modi.
Sirajul Haq said that Pakistan’s foreign policy from the very beginning had been pro-US but America had not stood by this country in any difficulty.
