CHAKWAL: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved Rs 1 million for the establishment of a digital library at the press club.
Press Club president Kh Babar Saleem, in an application through Provincial Minister Tanveer Aslam Sethi, stated that the press club had been functioning since 1986 and still it had no library. The chief minister approved Rs one million for the purpose and ordered to issue the cheque. In 1988, then chief minister Mian Nawaz Sharif had approved a grant for the press club building.
