ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Secretary, Khalid Rehmani, has resigned from the post citing domestic commitments as reason.
“I hereby tender resignation from the post of PTF secretary on personal grounds. Since the death of my father, my responsibilities have increased at home in Karachi. My mother wants me to devote more time to family business and wants me to stay home,” Rehmani said in his resignation.
It has been learnt that PTF would be making arrangements to conduct fresh elections on the post of secretary within 60 days. The PTF constitution clearly says that within 60 days of the resignation, the council has to elect new federation secretary.
