Revamping of projects in Punjab approved

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Communication and Works Malik Tanveer Aslam has said Infrastructure Development Authority (IDAP) is performing vital role to strengthen the infrastructure of Punjab.

The authority is enhancing vision of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.He expressed these views while addressing a meeting held in committee room of IDAP. According to a handout. MPA Uzma Bukhari, secretary I&C Asim Iqbal, Additional Secretary C&W Amir Mustafa, Mayor Mubashar, Mayor Multan Naveedul Haq, executive Director LUMS Khurram Zafar, Additional Secretary Finance Aisha Ranjha and others were present.

In meeting, the committee approved many projects of rehabilitation and revamping including PKLI, 15 THQs, 25 DHQs, Punjab Forensic Training Lab, complex of Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug, site house of Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power Plant. The minister said in the process of revamping and construction all possible resources should be utilised. He appreciated the IDAP’s performance and to make sure the provision of CT-Scan machine, digital radiology system, Ex-Ray system etc. in hospitals. He said shortage of staff in hospitals should be addressed.
