Message of Shab-e-Qadr is education, says Qadri
LAHORE
Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that the humanity had comprehensive manifesto of survival in the shape of the Quran on the night of Shab-e-Qadar.
Speaking to a massive gathering at Shehr-e-Aitkaaf on Thursday, he said that another message of Shab-e-Qadar is provision of education to the poor segments of society, preaching peace and love and spreading knowledge. He said the message of this auspicious night was education and knowledge. He said the Prophet (PBUH) preached peace and love for an economically balanced society. He said Muslims ought to be literate. He said the completion of the Quran and the creation of Pakistan are the great gifts of the auspicious Shabe Qadar.
Praying for the progress and development of the country and unity among the Ummah, Dr Qadri said peace could only be attained by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said the Charter of Madina is key to ensuring a peaceful society. PPP leaders Manzoor Wattoo and Gen (retd) Ghulam Mustafa and PTI’s Waleed Iqbal also visited the Shahre Aitkaaf and praised Dr Qadri for inculcating true spirit of Islam into youngsters.
