CHAKWAL: Sultan Raza Jami has been made the Zakat and Ushr Committee district chairman at Chief Minister Secretariat, Lahore, on Wednesday.
The Zakat and Ushr Committee chairmen of 34 districts were also present. There are over 380 Zakat and Ushr committees comprising nine persons each in Chakwal. Meanwhile, Subedar Muhammad Akram Awan was relieved of his duties after completing his three-year term. Sultan Raza Jami is son of the renowned Naat Khawan Abdul Razzaq Jami. All the local parliamentarians had nominated Ch Sajjad, a close friend of MPA Ch Liaquat Ali Khan.
