Man kills brother, sister in Mardan
MARDAN: A man allegedly shot dead his brother and sister over a land dispute in the Landaki area in the limits of Hoti Police Station on Saturday, the police said.
The official of Hoti Police Station said that the accused identified as Abdul Jabbar along his accomplice opened fire on his brother Muhammad Tariq Khan and sister Shahida, leaving them seriously injured.
Both of them succumbed to their injuries inside their home before arrival of the personnel of Rescue-1122.
The locals said that both the brothers, the killer and the deceased, had been contesting court cases relating to land dispute against each other for the last couple of years. They said that both the brothers had also exchanged fire a few months ago.
The Hoti Police Station had lodged a first information report (FIR) on the complaint of Ameer Taimur Khan, son of the deceased Muhammad Tariq Khan, against the alleged killers Abdul Jabbar Khan and his unknown accomplice and started an investigations.
