KP CM approves Rs1.5 bn for Kohat division

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has approved Rs1.5 billion for Kohat division from the gas royalty.The allocation was made on the basis of “spending resources on any given area as a share on the basis of natural resources produced in that area and that share is ensured to be spent on public welfare and development of that particular area,” said a handout.Chairing a meeting on gas royalty and development of the Karak, Hangu and Kohat districts, he directed that the developmental and public welfare schemes, to be financed through the development share of the area, should be reflected in theADP for the year 2017-18.
