LHC orders AMP president’s remand in all cases

OKARA: Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi of the Lahore High Court on Monday ordered the police to get the remand of Anjuman-e-Mazareen Punjab Renala Khurd Estate president Nadeem Ashraf in all cases and make recovery.
Sahiwal RPO Faisal Shahkar and DPO Faisal Rana informed the court about the arrest of Nadeem Ashraf. The court also ordered AIGP Investigations Tariq Masood Yasin to submit a report regarding investigation of cases against Nadeem Ashraf on January 28. Earlier on a petition in the LHC, Nadeem Ashraf was arrested by the Okara police in a murder case.
DPO TO PROBE CROSS-VERSION CASE: DPO Faisal Rana has assured the relatives of a murdered man that he will investigate the cross-version case registered against the complainants.
Earlier, the protesters led by Ijaz Gilani advocate and Riasat Ali gathered outside the Press Club and later reached the DPO Office against the release of 10 accsued in a murder case (503/14) registered by the Renala Khurd Sadr police. The DPO told the protesters that the accused could not be arrested till afresh investigation into the case.
