CHAKWAL: The government and private educational institutions have still not taken security measures according to the rules laid down by the Punjab government. The posts of security guards are lying vacant in most of the government schools and colleges while a number of the government and private campuses has still not installed CCTV cameras. The government has appointed a provincial secretary and a minister to monitor the security arrangements but so far the security arrangements are poor in the rural areas.
Meanwhile, the district administration has warned the government and private institutions to adopt security measures, otherwise the institutions will be sealed.
