SIALKOT: An eight-year-old child was killed during a jubilant firing in a marriage function at Chak Bagga in Sabzpir police limits on Sunday.
The marriage function of two brothers – Qaisar and Mehmood – was under way when some of the participants resorted to aerial firing in jubilation. As a result, a bullet hit grooms’ nephew Ahmad, injuring him seriously. He was shifted to a hospital where he died. Police have started investigations.
