Walk on polio awareness heldin Mingora

MINGORA: The anti-polio team and the hospital staff in Madyan organised a walk on Saturday to create awareness in the people about
fatal polio disease in the
area.
Schoolchildren, polio team and the hospital staff including Dr Shah Dawran, Imdad Hussain, Dr Tanvir, anti-polio team area in-charge Wakil Shah, Rahimuddin, Zakia Bibi, Imtiaz, Irfan and others took part in the walk.
Holding banners and placards, participants of the walk, marched through various areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Shah Dawran said that polio was a crippling and incurable disease. “Religious scholars, parents and elders of the area should play role to administer anti-polio drops to the children,” he added.
