Karachi thrash Sukkur 6-0 in regional hockey

KARACHI: Karachi maintained their supremacy in the regional preliminary round of NBP PHF Under-25 Inter-Region National Hockey championship when they trounced hosts Sukkur by 6-0 on Thursday at Sukkur Hockey Stadium.
Ali Hussain scored a brace, while Shujaat, Fareed, Salman and Arslan scored one each.
Hyderabad overpowered Larkana by 2-0. Captain Yasir and Khizar scored one goal each.
In the last match of the day, Benazirabad recorded a convincing 4-0 against Mirpurkhas. Qasim scored a hat-trick, while Munir scored the fourth goal.
