Zardari destroyed PPP with his ‘expertise’, says PTI chief
SUKKUR: While addressing a public gathering in Dadu on Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif would be interrogated by the JIT. He further added that he would help the people of Sindh to get rid of dacoit Asif Ali Zardari, adding that Zardari had destroyed the Pakistan People’s Party in all the provinces.
Imran Khan, while criticising the Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Zardari, remarked that the PPP leader, who called Imran politically immature and inexperienced, had destroyed his own party with his ‘special expertise’.
“The PPP is the smallest political party in all the four provinces now,” Imran claimed. “Zardari has no empathy for the people of Sindh, and the farmers of Sindh fear Zardari.”
Further speaking about Zardari, Khan said that Zardari had made a majority party into a minority party.
He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Zardari had the ability to recognise sharp politicians. “Zardari calls me an immature politician. May Allah save me from such politicians. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had made PPP the greatest party and Zardari has destroyed it.”
Imran Khan then spoke about the Panama verdict. “We are thankful to Allah for the Supreme Court’s verdict.” He said that the apex court’s verdict had exposed the real face of Nawaz Sharif. “Nawaz lost his moral status after the Panama verdict,” Khan said. “It is Nawaz Sharif’s bad luck that his name came up in the Panama Leaks.”
He said that he would gather the public against Nawaz Sharif and said that the two most-senior judges had announced Nawaz Sharif as dishonest and proposed his disqualification. Imran added that, however, the PML-N was shamelessly distributing sweets.
Khan also accused Nawaz Sharif of rigging elections in Punjab and Zardari of rigging elections in Sindh.
“The rulers looted the nation’s money making Pakistan a poorer country,” he claimed. “Corruption has destroyed the nation. The country’s hospitals and education institutes have been destroyed because of corruption.”
He said that Ayyan Ali was caught in a money laundering case, Dr Asim was indicted in Rs460 billion corruption case and PPP’s Sharjeel Memon was also involved in a huge corruption scam. Imran said that the development budget of KPK was Rs113 billion and astonishingly Dr Asim was caught in Rs460 billion corruption case, which was three times more than the development budget of the KPK.
“A day will come when police in Sindh will be of the same level as the police in KP,” he said. “If Sindh’s police department is improved, then cruelty will not exist.”
On the occasion, Liaquat Jatoi also announced that he has officially joined the PTI. “I welcome Liaquat Jatoi to the PTI,” said Imran while welcoming the leader. Imran also said that Mr Jatoi had taken a good decision which was in the best interest of our country.
On this occasion, Sheikh Rasheed said that Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan couldn’t run together and he advised Nawaz Sharif to resign. Rasheed said that he, on behalf of the nation, wanted to salute the senior judges of the Supreme Court who had exposed the dishonesty of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and recommended his disqualification. He said that Imran Khan had the capability to change the fate of Pakistan.
