Two cops shot dead in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified assailants gunned down two cops in the busy Rahim bazaar in the broad daylight here on Thursday, police said.
They said that two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle fired at the cops including Kamran and Waqas, who were also riding a bike, in Rahim bazaar, killing them on the spot.The accused managed to escape unchallenged after committing the crime. The bodies were shifted to a hospital for autopsy.
Later, the bodies were shifted to the Police Lines Dera Ismail Khan where funeral prayers for the deceased were offered and the bodies were dispatched to the native areas for burial.Meanwhile, the police cordoned off the area and collected pieces of evidence from the crime scene.
