LAHORE
An eight-year-old paralysed girl was burnt alive when a fire erupted in a house due to short circuit in the Baghbanpura police limits on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Noor Fatima, daughter of Aneela Bibi, a resident of Salamatpura. Aneela was separated from her husband Shakeel and living in the house along with her three kids. She worked as a maid. On the day of incident, she was at her workplace while her children were at home.
The fire broke out in the house all of sudden and engulfed the home. The two children managed to come out of the house while Noor Fatima could not come out. Rescue 1122 fire service reached the scene and controlled the fire. The victim was burnt alive when the firefighters controlled the fire.
