DASKA: Three dacoity incidents were reported here on Tuesday.
Asad was on his way home when six dacoits intercepted him and snatched cash and a mobile phone from him. Muhammad Naeem was on his way home when two dacoits intercepted him near Bombanwala village and looted Rs 30,000, a cell phone and a motorcycle. Anwar Ali parked his motorcycle outside his house. When he returned, he found it missing.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A youth attempted suicide in the Motra police limits on Tuesday.
Ahmad attempted suicide by taking poisonous pills. He was rushed to a hospital. The motive behind the incident is said to be unemployment.
POWER THEFT: On the report of Wapda SDO Rana Sadiq, Motra police on Tuesday booked a man for power theft.
The SDO along with his team raided the house of accused Ditta at Jamkey village and caught him red-handed when he was stealing electricity through direct lines.
