Larkana bulldoze Benazirabad in hockey tourney

KARACHI: Larkana recorded a convincing 10-1 victory against Benazirabad on Tuesday in NBP PHF U25 Inter-Region National hockey tournament underway in Sukkur.
Abdullah scored four, Majid scored three, while Mubeen, Touqeer and Shawaz scored one goal each.
Zafar scored a consolation goal for Benazirabad.
Hosts Sukkur defeated Mirpurkhas 3-0. Danyal scored a brace, while Musaddiq scored the third for the victors.
In the last match of the day, Karachi thrashed Hyderabad 5-1. Waseem Aslam scored twice, while Sharjeel, Fareed and Ali Hussain scored one goal each. Adnan scored one for Hyderabad.
The tournament is being organised by Sindh Hockey Association.
PHF will organise the final round of the championship from February 27 to March 6 at Faisalabad Hockey Stadium in Faisalabad.
