Rulers should bow to Allah, not US: Siraj
MIRPUR: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq says those passing lives like Mughal kings are a torment for the poor adding that the rulers instead of bowing before Trump and Obama should bow before Almighty Allah.
Siraj said he appeared before the Supreme Court for 60 days in the PanamaLeaks case. He said those bowing before the IMF and World Bank could not bring a revolution.
He said this while addressing the 15th convention of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), Azad Kashmir, in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Earlier, Siraj administered oath to newly elected office-bearers of PIMA including its President Dr Sadiq. Dr Riaz Ahmed, Dr Aftab Ahmed Mir, Dr Ataur Rehman and others also addressed the ceremony.
Siraj said Pakistan was like a mosque adding that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had promised to make Pakistan a welfare state 114 times. “We want the system of Almighty Allah in the country. We can’t obey the US or India.”
He said the JI, while following the thoughts of Syed Abul Ala Maududi, was giving a befitting reply. He said the people should support the JI to foil the designs of enemies of the country and ant-Islam forces.
