CM expresses satisfaction over Sahiwal Coal Power Project
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over the pace of work of Sahiwal Coal Power Project and consensus was made to accelerate it further.
A delegation led by Vice-President Mr Fan Xiaxia, Hauneng group called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here Thursday, to discuss matters relating to Sahiwal Coal Power Project and operational matters of coal transportation.The meeting expressed satisfaction over the pace of work and consensus was made to accelerate it further. Chinese delegation ensured to complete the project before stipulated time.
Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said this 1,320mw venture is self-exploratory point of reference for diligent work, rapidness and standard and it will set another record of expedient work. He applauded the efforts of the Chinese company for speedy completion of project and congratulated their entire team for it.
Appreciating one belt, one road vision of president of China, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistani people highly regard the cooperation of China especially to overcome energy crises in Pakistan. He said that speedy work on development projects under CPEC has brought uneasiness to certain political opponents but they also can’t deny the economic benefits whole region will enjoy once it is been completed.
Fan Xiaxia, Vice-President China Huaneng group said that spectacular work on CPEC projects had been done under the vibrant leadership of Shahbaz Sharif and we will leave no stone unturned to complete Sahiwal Coal Power Project as soon as possible. He said that CPEC has opened-up a new era of Pak-China bond as it’s our responsibility to help our neighbouring friend for improving their socio-economic status.
